Petition to Define Marriage as Between One Man and One Woman
“I support the Constitutional Amendment proposed by STAND to define marriage to be between one man and one woman.”
Constitutional Amendment on Marriage
Section 1. "Under the laws and Constitution of the United States and its various municipal and state governments, Marriage shall be defined as a union between one man and one woman, whether performed by a civil magistrate or a religious representative.
Section 2. Any Supreme Court decisions purporting to "legalize" same sex unions as marriages are hereby rendered null and void. All such unions entered into under the authority of any such decisions, rulings or holdings shall be deemed private contractual relations under the laws of the United States.
Section 3. Unions entered into in any foreign country between two persons of the same sex or gender deemed to be marriages under the laws of the country where such union is entered into shall not be recognized as marriage under the laws of the United States.
Section 4. The concepts of sexual orientation and gender identity shall not be considered protected classes under the Constitution of the United States nor be included in the meaning of sex or gender for legal or constitutional purposes.
